Student Success Statement "Character is higher than intellect." - Ralph Waldo Emerson Character is higher than intellect. I agree with this statement, intellect is important but not as much as character. I believe this because your character is what makes you you. Intellect is just an add on to you. Intellect is basically how you do things. How you think, how you act and many more. And character defines you as a person. More people care about who you are as a person rather than how you do things. 

Student Success Statement  "Character matters most." - Dale Murphy I think I agree with this statement. I agree because i believe you and your persona matters most. I say this because no money or talent etc. will ever out do the great person you are. I believe that having a bad attitude, being mean, selfish, and not caring for others makes you a very ugly person. Not only that but people will also stop talking to you because no one likes a person like that. Therefore i believe that your character matters most.
