Student Success Statement  "A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder."- Thomas Carlyle  I agree with this statement because it makes sense. Having a goal in life kind of pushes and inspires us to actually do it. So someone without a goal you can say has no direction or is stuck on what to do. If we don't have a goal in life it makes us lost and confused on what we want in our future. Although if we do have a goal set for  us it leads us to do good. 

Student Success Statement "If i've got correct goals, and if i keep pursuing them the best way i know how, everything else falls into line. If i do the right thing right, I'm going to succeed. - Dan Dierdorf  I think I agree with this statement because it is very encouraging. It's kind of an inspiration on how you should be thinking everyday. I believe that if you have goals set for yourself and your future keeping a good mindset and staying positive will help you pursue your goals. Just like Dan said if you do the right thing right you will succeed. Good things come to good people. 

Student Success Statement  "In life as in football, you won't go far, unless you know where the goalposts are" - Arnold H. Glasgow    believe this statement is very true. It's not literally saying life is like football but figuratively it is. And i feel like it's a very good way to put it cause it makes sense. Just like in football there are goalposts, and just like in life there are goals that we also have and want to accomplish. It may just be a short term goal or a long term goal, it doesn't matter as long as you try your best to achieve it.For example, one of my goals is to pass all my classes in each of the grading periods now that is a short term, and a long term would be me wanting to attend college. A good way to live your life is to set goals and actually achieve them for a better life.
