Student Success Statement "I have been asked what i mean by 'word of honor.' I will tell you: Place me behind prison walls-walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground-there is a possibility that in some way or another i might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor to never cross it. Can i get out of that circle? No, never I'd die first." - Karl G. Maeser I strongly agree with this statement because i believe in always keeping your word. I feel like this statement can also relate to the last statement; the 10 indian commandments. I remember there being one about always keeping your word. It's important to because it defines you as a person.
Student Success Statement "A promise must never be broken." - Alexander Hamilton I believe in this statement. Promises are really a big thing in my opinion because the person you're keeping a promise to is really trusting you and believe that you're actually going to accomplish it. Some people just say the word "promise" to get what they want. I have had many of friends throughout my short life who break their promises to me. For example when they swear to you they won't tell nobody your personal things but go ahead and tell everyone. Something as small as that really can define how a person really is. I would never be capable of spilling someone's secret because i know how it feels.
Student Success Statement "If i've got correct goals, and if i keep pursuing them the best way i know how, everything else falls into line. If i do the right thing right, I'm going to succeed. - Dan Dierdorf I think I agree with this statement because it is very encouraging. It's kind of an inspiration on how you should be thinking everyday. I believe that if you have goals set for yourself and your future keeping a good mindset and staying positive will help you pursue your goals. Just like Dan said if you do the right thing right you will succeed. Good things come to good people.
