Memorial Day




       Memorial day is a day we honor all the people who served for our country. The ones who gave up their lives to serve for our country. Memorial day is always on the last monday of may and which this year it takes place on the 28th of may. Memorial day was originally called decoration day and took place on the 30th of May no matter what day of the week it was. People often visit cemeteries or go on vacation which sometimes causes there to be traffic or veryyy busy airports. There are many little towns who claim they made up memorial day but it really came from Waterloo, New York. In 1971 Memorial Day was declared a holiday.

Some have high school diplomas and even college degree's.  Salary: The salary depends on how many years you've served. It's usually around $2,972 Education Requirements:  A high school diploma is usually required to have to enroll in the list to join. You also cannot have any drug history. And obviously training is required to prepare you for the big thing.  Reflection:   Would you like to be one? why or why not?  I would not like to be one because I would be too scared.

There are many teens, adults, and even kids who do the wrong just cause they see others doing it. For example like drugs or drinking, some people just do it to fit in or  cause everybody's doing it.

Student Success Statement  "Character matters most." - Dale Murphy I think I agree with this statement. I agree because i believe you and your persona matters most. I say this because no money or talent etc. will ever out do the great person you are. I believe that having a bad attitude, being mean, selfish, and not caring for others makes you a very ugly person. Not only that but people will also stop talking to you because no one likes a person like that. Therefore i believe that your character matters most.
