CTR Reflection

CTR Story Reflection 

    This CTR story was about a special needs high schooler, Chy Johnson she was getting bullied by a couple of kids she attends school with. She's been bullied her whole life, but her mom finally decided to put a stop to it. She emailed a family member of there's which also attended chy's school and a football player. Him and his friends decided to hangout with Chy and defend her. I thought what he did was very thoughtful. He didn't have to do that, he chose to do it. Which i think was very nice of him. That's why it's important to choose the right because you end up helping people in need and at the end of it feel very good about yourself.

Student Success Statement  "I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and i can change that(poverty). It depends upon how hard i work, and i decided that i would change it." - Dr. Ben Carson I don't agree with this statement. There are many many people who go through poverty and it's not a choice for them. Some families cannot even afford to eat no matter how hard or how much they work. Others cannot even afford an education which is why poverty increases and increases. I believe that the government should do something to officially end poverty.

The Navy Duties and Responsibilities: The people in the Navy men and woman are there to serve and protect our nation. Some have high school diplomas and even college degree's.  Salary: The salary depends on how many years you've served. It's usually around $2,972 Education Requirements:  A high school diploma is usually required to have to enroll in the list to join. You also cannot have any drug history. And obviously training is required to prepare you for the big thing.  Reflection:   Would you like to be one? why or why not?  I would not like to be one because I would be too scared.

Student Success Statement "Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company." - George Washington  I totally agree with this statement and i myself can relate to it. How i would restate this statement is acompanning yourself with the wrong people will mess you up, it's best to be alone than with the wrong people who will probably eventually get you killed. One example for me is when i was in freshman year of highschool i hung out with the wrong people. I would do the same as them just to fit in. Later on i learned that what i was doing would lead me to nothing in life. I would have bad grades, and now in my sophomore year i totally changed, very good grades and doing right. I can honestly say it feels good. That is why i agree with the statement and can relate to it.
